About me
In 2025, I graduated with a Master of Laws (LLM) with Distinction from a world top university, where I won the General LLM Prize. Prior to this, I completed my Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree in 2023. In 2020, I achieved three A*'s at A-level in English, Psychology and Religious Studies. At the GCSE level, I achieved a Grade 8 and a Grade 9 (equivalent to A*) in English Literature and English Language respectively.
But I wasn't always a "high achiever".
When I was a young student at school, I struggled with numerous subjects (mathematics in particular) and often received grades I wasn’t happy with. I also struggled with dyslexia, which made learning slower for me, and I often needed teachers to explain things in alternative ways.
Having experienced challenges similar to those many students face, I know how frustrating it can be to feel like you’re falling behind or needing extra support that students often feel too afraid or embarrassed to ask for. I understand firsthand how hard it is to feel "stuck" with your grades. Growing up, I experienced the school system in Australia, The Netherlands, France and the United Kingdom, so I also understand the difficulties of being an international student.
I was fortunate to have some incredible teachers who helped me build confidence. A supportive teacher or tutor who understands your struggles and is patient and creative enough to explain things in a way that just “clicks” can make a world of difference. Just because you learn at a different pace or face learning difficulties doesn’t mean you can’t achieve the grades you’re aiming for.
The support of my teachers inspired me to provide students with the same guidance and encouragement that had such a positive impact on my own journey.
Whatever your challenges, you don’t have to face them alone—I’m here to support you every step of the way. Whether you’re aiming for an A, a B, or a C grade, I’m committed to helping you achieve your personal goals.

All tutoring is done by myself.
Am I a qualified teacher?
I am not a qualified teacher but I have experience in tutoring (both independently, through a tutoring company and in volunteering to teach English abroad).
I achieved top grades in English as an academic subject in both my GCSE's & A-level exams (2018 and 2020 respectively). I then went on to complete a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) (2020-2023) and a Master of Laws (LLM) degree (2023-2025) from a top world University.
I am also DBS checked (criminal records checked).

Can I teach students with learning difficulties?
Yes. I have worked with numerous students with learning difficulties. In the consultation, we can discuss any concerns that you may have or any extra requirements.
At what level do I teach?
I have experience in teaching students between the ages of 7 - 18.
However, I am also happy teaching younger students, University students, or adults learning English as a second language.
What can I teach?
I can help you with all things related to English language and English literature. This includes English as an academic subject and helping you prepare for your examinations (poetry analysis, creative writing, essay writing, coursework etc), or lessons to simply improve your confidence.
To tailor our lessons to your needs, I might ask you to share any materials or reading lists beforehand.
On a more specialised note, I am also able to assist students studying Medical law & Ethics, which is an area I specialised in during my Master’s degree.
Feel free to contact me if you’d like to discuss this further.
How do I teach?
I teach depending on the individual needs of each student, their goals and their level of learning. Across all levels, I create a fun and comfortable learning environment and I encourage all students to engage and speak in the lessons. I create most of my own teaching materials, but I also use online materials from exam boards to familiarise the student on what an "official" exam will look like.
I keep a detailed record of the progress of each student after each lesson, which I would be happy to share with you.
All lessons will take place over Zoom, for a 1 hour lesson.
I have paid for a lesson/lessons, what happens next?
Once you have paid for a lesson, I will contact you within 24 hours via email to organise when you would like to schedule the session/sessions.
Within 24 hours of the scheduled session, I will email you with the code to join the Zoom call.
What time zone do I teach in?
All sessions are scheduled according to UK local time.
Cancellations and missed lessons
If the student cancels a lesson with 24 hours notice, we can reschedule another lesson free of charge.
If the student does not turn up to the lesson they will still be charged in full.
